halfway to nowhere
and headed there fast
searching for something
that might just last
oblivious to the obvious
seeking obscurity
anything that will give
a sense of security
oh what crazy dreams
youthful minds aspire
low on commitment
high on desire
will I ever get there?
wherever 'there' may be
caught up in the crazy train
of the reckless and free.
